The Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") outlines our use of data we may access through your access to or use of our platform as a Host of an event space, Guest booking an event space from a Host, site visitor, and/or general user. By accessing or using the platform, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not access or use our platform.

1.1 - Interpretation
Words with capital letters have specific meanings listed below. These definitions apply whether used in singular or plural form.
For this Privacy Policy:

● Affiliate: Any organization that controls, is controlled by, or shares control with another party (where control means owning 50%+ of voting shares or similar interest).
● Application: The MyVenueSpace software downloaded to your device.
● Company / We / Us / Our: Refers to MyVenueSpace, Inc., a Delaware corporation (MyVenueSpace), 14205 SE 36th Street Suite 100, PMB 726 Bellevue, WA 98006, EIN 33-4019501.
● Consumer / You / User / Data Subject: The individual or entity accessing or using the Service, Application, or Website.
● Data Controller: Under GDPR, the entity (MyVenueSpace ) that decides why and how personal data is processed.

7.0 – CCPA, CalOPPA, and California Privacy Rights
This section applies solely to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), and the Shine the Light Law.

In the past 12 months, we have not sold personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), nor do we have plans to do so. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under the age of 16.
We may share data with service providers and analytics partners to operate our platform, measure performance, and improve user experience, but such sharing is done under strict contractual obligations that prohibit further use, retention, or sale of that data.

7.9 – Shine the Light Law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798)

8.0 – Children’s and Minor Users’ Privacy Rights
8.1 – General Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared Personal Data with us, please contact us. If we discover we've collected data from anyone under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. If your country's laws require parental consent for data collection, we may ask for that before proceeding.
8.2 – California Minors’ Privacy Rights (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §22581)
California residents under 18 who are registered users of our Service may request the removal of content they’ve posted publicly. To request removal, contact us and include the email linked to your Account. Please note that such requests do not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal, and some exceptions under the law may apply.\
9.0 – Peer-to-Peer Interactions
As a peer-to-peer marketplace, our platform enables users (e.g., hosts and guests ) to interact with one another:
• Messaging: Users may communicate through our internal messaging system. We reserve the right to m onitor or scan these communications for compliance and safety, though we will not do so by default. However, users can report inappropriate or concerning messages, which may then be reviewed by our team.
• Profiles & Reviews: Hosts and guests have public profiles that may include usernames, ratings, and reviews. Content shared in these areas may be visible to others.
• Contact Info: Direct contact information is not shared between users. All communication should occur within the platform.
• Moderation: We do not use automated tools to moderate communications. We rely on user reports to identify violations. We reserve the right to review reported messages and content, and take action — including suspension or removal of accounts — if behavior is found to violate our Terms of Service or community standards.
We encourage all users to report any messages or content that violate our policies. We aim to provide a safe and respectful environment but depend on our community to help surface concerns.
10.0 – Automated Systems and AI Assistance
We use limited automation to improve your experience. However, we do not use AI to monitor or enforce moderation on user communications.
• Recommendations: Automated tools may suggest listings based on user behavior.
• No Automated Moderation or Profiling: We do not use automated decision-making or AI tools to profile users, monitor messages, or enforce moderation rules. Reported content is reviewed manually as needed.
11.0 - Sensitive Personal Data
We don’t ask for or collect sensitive personal data such as health info, biometrics, or religious/political views. If submitted by mistake, we will work to delete it. Listings may show accessibility features, but this is not tied to user data.
12.0 - Data Breach Notification
If a data breach could impact your rights:
● We will investigate quickly.
● Notify affected users without unnecessary delay.
● Inform authorities if required by law.
