Green Villain Studios is a versatile 1,700 sq ft creative loft located in Jersey City, NJ, designed for private events, workshops, photo/video productions, and social gatherings. Situated on the 4th floor of a quiet industrial building, the space offers a flexible, open floor plan that can be tailored to your event’s specific needs. While the view features an urban industrial backdrop, it provides a neutral, distraction-free environment ideal for creative projects, performances, or intimate gatherings. The studio is equipped with a range of included amenities, including professional-grade PA systems, microphones, basic lighting, tripods, and backdrops (white, black, green). A kitchenette and limited tables and chairs are available, with additional furniture and décor available as add-ons. Heating is included, while air conditioning is not, and power outlets are distributed throughout the space to accommodate equipment or event needs. Clean, accessible restrooms are available onsite. Add-on services allow guests to enhance their experience, including premium lighting, DJ or audio packages, photography/video teams, lounge furniture, decorative backdrops, photo booths, and additional staffing. Catering must be provided by licensed caterers or pre-approved vendors; outside food and beverages are allowed under responsible handling policies. Alcohol service is also possible in compliance with New Jersey regulations. Green Villain Studios is wheelchair accessible via a freight elevator, and the space adheres to strict house rules to ensure safety and respect for neighboring tenants. Bookings include setup and breakdown time, and minimum booking is 2 hours. Evening and weekend bookings are subject to a premium, while block rates are available for longer events. Guests are responsible for returning the space in its original condition, with cleaning requirements and potential additional fees for damages outlined clearly in our rental agreement.
